■FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN & GROUPS

For children in need of special care, we provide free HappyDoll Kits.  Open the box, and the child will “meet” a HappyDoll designed by another child somewhere in the world which traveled from afar to stay with the child and make them smile.  Using the blank muslin doll and the color pens from the kit, the child can now design their own HappyDoll.  Once they’re done, they have two choices; keep the HappyDolls or send the newly designed doll back to the HappyDoll office where it will travel to another child and deliver the message of hope!

For group sessions, our staffs and volunteers visit with blank dolls and pens to have fun with the children. We customize each session for schools, organizations, and events, so get in touch at info@happydoll.org !

■BECOME A SPONSOR

You can sponsor a child’s HappyDoll to travel by making donations.  A $25 donation will cover one HappyDoll trip, but we welcome and appreciate any amount of donation to the organization! Let us know you want to “sponsor a trip”, and we will send you a HappyDoll ID# so you can track and see where your sponsored doll travels.

■VOLUNTEER

Volunteer Sessions:

HappyDoll.org is blessed with a dedicated team of volunteer members in New York. Every blank doll is hand-made by our volunteers and delivered to children to decorate. HappyDoll not only connects children, but brings adults together through these volunteer sessions where members gather to stuff muslin dolls. It is an excellent opportunity for team building and getting involved in your community. If you, your community, or your company is interested, we would love to hear from you!

Our volunteers contribute by making blank dolls or helping out at HappyDoll sessions at various venues including schools, hospitals and nursing homes, as well as special events in New York and the Tri-State area.

We collaborate with other organizations as well. Our most recent partner is AHRC New York City, a private organization serving over 15,000 individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities throughout New York. We hold “stuffing sessions” with the individuals who help HappyDoll by stuffing blank dolls.

Corporate Volunteer Sessions:

The drop-in corporate volunteer sessions are an excellent team and community building opportunities for employees to meet colleagues from various divisions and work together to make a difference for children in need.  Our recent partners include Morgan Stanly and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ.  Contact us if your community, friends, or company would like to hold volunteer sessions.

■BECOME AN AMBASSADOR

Do you like to travel? If so, you might be a perfect candidate as a HappyDoll Ambassador!   Thanks to fellow friends who have allowed our band of HappyDolls to become their travel buddies, many children in India, Honduras, Vietnam and Japan, have all received HappyDolls made by other children around the world. Get in touch if you have connections around the world, and would like to deliver our HappyDolls as an ambassador!
